  • Lower Trent Conservation - Trent River Trivia

Our relationship with the Trent River stretches back thousands of years – from Native people who used the River as an ancient canoe highway to fur traders & lumberman who relied on it as a commercial transportation corridor to today where recreational boaters travel the river daily. Stop by the Trent Port Marina at the mouth of the Trent River to chat with Lower Trent Conservation staff and learn more about southern Ontario’s largest river system. Also take an up close and personal look at life size models of Ontario’s 8 species of turtles, of which 7 are at risk.

As well, a Nautical Yard Sale is being planned for outside.
